I’m Kush, a 17-year-old A-level student hoping to double major in Astrophysics and Classics.

Photography

For me, photography is a language through which I can share the excitement and passion I have for both Astronomy and Wildlife. The world and universe we live in has so much to offer that we take for granted. Every night, more lights drown out the stars in the sky and every year more species face extinction. My hope is that through showcasing the natural beauty around us and stimulating the same feeling of awe I experience with each image I take, I might also inspire people to appreciate nature more and help me to protect it.

Conservation

For the past six years, my photography has been about more than just capturing the beauty of our planet. It’s been about sharing the sense of admiration that I feel with each shot and inspiring in others a deeper sense of responsibility to protect the species that we, as humans, have threatened in our pursuit of progress. We must act now to stop poaching and give Africa's endangered wildlife a chance to thrive once again.

Research

Astronomy is a quest to uncover the secrets hidden in the vast expanse of the night sky. The universe holds mysteries that remain shrouded in darkness, waiting to be revealed. Through my ongoing sky surveys and research, I aim to shed light on the faint filaments and celestial phenomena that lie beneath the surface, iterating the idea that so much remains to be discovered. My hope is that by unveiling these hidden wonders, I can inspire others to marvel at the cosmos and join me in the exploration of its profound depths.

Let’s work together!

Over the years I have worked with and been featured by notable organisations such as National, Geographic, Astronomy Now, and the Smithsonian among others.

If you have a project or idea you would be interested in collaborating on please get in touch! I would be thrilled for us to work together!
